Student Writing consultant, Center for Writing; Minneapolis, MN — 2020 – Present

·       Meet with students via zoom in order to read their texts and assignments for discussion.

·       Offer advice concerning grammar, content, and structure in order to improve the writer’s work both for the current assignment as well as future assignments. 

·       Attend to the virtual front desk to assist writers and consultants with scheduling or technical issues.

·       Attend professional development meetings.

 

Student Translator, UMN History Department; Minneapolis, MN — 2019 – 2020

·       Translated original newspaper from the Soviet Period of Glasnost and Perestroika for an associate professor’s research project.

·       Collaborated with the professor and an international student in order to translate the nuances of Soviet rhetoric into contemporary English.

 

Student Development Representative, UMN Foundation; Minneapolis, MN — 2019

·       Stayed up to date with developments across various departments and programs at the University of Minnesota.

·       Called alumni and supporters of the University in order to update contact information and build rapport.
